Yes. Our tap filters are certified with USA FDA, Environment Product ISO 9001 and Environment Product Declaration as they are manufactured in Korea.

What is the country of manufacture?

How do I know if the tap filter can fit on my tap?

Your kitchen tap must come with round thread and is approximately 22mm in diameter. Two thread adapters are included in your purchase.

How to install the tap filter?

Our tap filters are “plug and play” devices and they are easy to install. No additional plumbing is needed. The tap filter (has female thread) can fit on regular kitchen tap with a diameter of 22mm (male thread). You may need to unscrew the tip of your basin tap (or using a spanner); and then install the tap filter by turning anti-clockwise to the basin tap, tighten it.

What are the benefits of the tap filters?

The benefits include water saving, chlorine removal, high water pressure and rust & lime removal. More information can be found on www.ufilters.com.

Why the tap filter has high water pressure?

Uniquos tap filter come with small patented holes on the stainless steel filter plate, hence, it has the benefits of water saving yet high water pressure.

After using the filter tap for around 3-4 months, I can smell or taste chlorine again in my drinking water. Why?

Each replacement filter comes with Vitamin C and has limited lifespan, which varies depending on usage and water conditions. This indicates that the replacement filter should be replaced.

Are the contents of the replacement safe?

The contents of the replacement filters are made in South Korea and tested by quality organisations. They are food grade and completely harmless to yourself and if accidentally consumed will be harmless to health.

How often should I change the filter?

Depending on usage and water conditions. To ensure optimum result, we recommend to replace the replacement filter every 3 months

Can I change the replacement filter myself?
Yes. Our customers can fix by themselves. It is very easy and can be done within minutes in just four steps:
1. Remove the tap filter from your kitchen tap;
2. Unscrew the cap from the tap filter;
3. Remove the rubber ring and take out the used replacement filter;
4. Insert with a new replacement filter, put back the rubber ring and screw back the cap.
